Hydra’s Trail Event© is pleased to announce the official opening of registrations for the 2026 edition. Mountain running enthusiasts from across Greece and abroad will have the opportunity to secure their participation in one of the country’s most impressive and multifaceted sporting events.
Registrations open on December 15, accompanied by an “Early Bird” preferential pricing period available for a limited time, until January 15, 2026. Specifically, a €10.00 discount is offered for the Hydra’s Trail Marathon and Rock Race, giving athletes the chance to secure their entry at a reduced cost. The only requirement is that the participation fee must be paid via debit or credit card.
Furthermore, as every year, those who choose to participate in any of the Sunday races may also take part in the Saturday Run ‘n’ Fun event at no additional cost. However, attention is needed: in order for this to apply, participants must select Run ‘n’ Fun as their second race during the initial registration, so that their timing can be properly recorded.
The major sporting celebration will take place on April 4 & 5, 2026, set against the unique island landscape of Hydra, offering once again an unforgettable experience through technical routes, historic trails, and the island’s distinct traditional atmosphere. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of courses designed for all levels—from demanding athletes to adventure and nature lovers.
The Organizing Committee has already begun preparations to ensure that the upcoming event becomes another milestone for the Greek mountain running community. With particular emphasis on athlete support, the efficient operation of aid stations, and the promotion of the island’s welcoming character, Hydra’s Trail Event© aims to deliver an unparalleled racing and travel experience.
