Dr. George Chloros is an Orthopedic Surgeon, born and raised in Athens, graduating from Athens College. He studied Medicine at the University of Liège in Belgium and, subsequently, gained substantial clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Virginia and at NIMT Hospital in Athens.
Subsequently, he trained at leading university centers in the USA (such as Allegheny General Hospital in Pennsylvania) and Great Britain ( Leeds General Infirmary )—hospitals with a particularly high volume of advanced surgeries —actively participating in high-demand surgeries and acquiring in-depth knowledge in knee and hip arthroplasty surgery .

During his training , he had the opportunity to apprentice alongside internationally renowned surgeons in the USA and Great Britain, participating in numerous demanding procedures that provided him with cutting-edge expertise . Thus, he developed high technical proficiency in difficult cases and gained valuable experience in arthroscopic techniques , minimally invasive approaches , and fast-track rehabilitation protocols .

His intensive experience with a large volume of innovative procedures led him to further specialize in innovative techniques , such as robotic total knee arthroplasty (Robotic TKA) and personalized knee arthroplasty (patient-specific instrumentation) , thus offering a high-level, modern treatment of even the most demanding orthopedic cases.

Dr. Chloros is fully licensed to practice medicine in the United States (State of Pennsylvania, No. MD465887) and in Great Britain (General Medical Council, No. GMC6049891). He has performed hundreds of successful surgeries in the United States, United Kingdom and Greece, with a primary focus on:

  • Knee and hip arthroplasty (including robotic & personalized techniques)
  • Arthroscopic surgeries (shoulder, knee)
  • Regenerative medicine techniques (Biological therapies: PRP, stem cells)
  • Fast -track protocols
