Dimitris Alexandros Fatouros studied in Germany (Harzburger Dekoschule) and at the École National des Beaux Arts in Paris. He is a graduate of the Académie Royale Des Beaux Arts (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) in Brussels.
He worked with decoration, models and posters, and his works are in museums and collections. His books were honored by the Department of Modern Greek Literature at the University of Athens and were purchased by the Ministry of Culture.
He has written 12 novels translated into French, Italian, and English, and his short stories have been included in Greek Letters, a publication of the University of Athens.
He was honored with a medal from the Maritime Museum of Crete and with the medal of the city of Ludwigshafen.
Dimitris Alexandros Fatouros belongs to the Dream Symbolism movement.
He has 26 solo and 21 collective exhibitions to his credit in Greece and Europe.
