And so we reached our first anniversary!<\/p>\n

Hydra’s Trail Event\u00a9<\/sup><\/a><\/strong> is finally preparing for the 10th<\/sup><\/strong> event which -as ex-pected- will be an ANNIVERSARY<\/strong> !!!<\/p>\n

The beloved Saronic island will once again put on its best and welcome you for another racing weekend, full of fun, action, running and of course, those unforgettable and unique 100 meters of the finish, through the deafening applause of the world, that give an incredible and unprecedented boost to even the most exhausted athlete!<\/p>\n

Although there will be no changes to the trails, many surprises await you this year! Because we are celebrating<\/strong> and we are planning Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025<\/strong> to be the most unforgettable two days of the year.<\/p>\n

The classic race remains Hydra\u2019s Trail Marathon<\/strong><\/a>, with a length of 38.5 km<\/strong> and 2,000 m of elevation gain<\/strong>, designed for experienced athletes in mountain running, with many kilometers of technical terrain as well as cobblestones. A route that crosses beautiful beaches and steep, rocky paths. The course record is held by Konstantinos Paradisopoulos<\/strong><\/a> from 2023 with a time of 3:37:20<\/strong>! Challenge to take it down!<\/p>\n

On the contrary, Rock Race<\/strong><\/a> for those who are not familiar with long and hard kilometers, the is an ideal choice. 18 km<\/strong> with 1,015 m of elevation gain<\/strong>\u00a0are waiting for you to enjoy the special experience of running between threshing floors, chapel bridges and windmills as well as on paths by the sea!<\/p>\n

If the two routes above sounds huge, we scheduled one race for you who want to try your skills at the mountain trails! Rookie Trail Race<\/strong> with 8 km<\/strong> course and 410 m elevation gain<\/strong>\u00a0is the right lure to enjoy mountains, mountain trails and the sea, without breaking a sweat…<\/p>\n

Of course, the always beloved Run ‘n’ Fun<\/strong><\/a> is here for you to have truly fun running through the urban fabric of the traditional settlement of picturesque Hydra, over the beautiful cobblestones and through the historic mansions and the unique castle state of Hydra, Kiafa! 4.7 km<\/strong> with 156 m of elevation gain<\/strong>, it’s worth experiencing! If you are 13 years old or above and want to spend an ideal Saturday afternoon, this race suits you perfectly.<\/p>\n

Finally, for our little friends, Junior\u2019s Mini Race<\/strong><\/a> with the three different routes for ages up to 12 years old<\/strong> of course could not be missing from the festive two days! After all, our future is these children and we invest in them!<\/p>\n

Registration will open on Sunday December 1st<\/strong>, where again this year you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the “Early Bird Registration<\/strong><\/span>\u201d at Hydra’s Trail Marathon<\/strong><\/a> and Rock Race<\/strong><\/a>. In this way, those who register and pay their participation by card until January 15th<\/strong>, will receive a \u20ac10.00 discount<\/strong> on the initial registration fee, without losing any of the offers that accompany their participation in these matches.<\/p>\n
